“To eat is a necessity. To eat intelligently is an art.” ~ La Rochefoucauld.
There exists a harmonic bond between Art and Food. Fine-dining restaurants are transforming into modern art galleries. It does take a little more than ‘great food quality’ and an ‘excellent service’ at a restaurant to be rated a Michelin star. The duo, Gordon Craig and Richard Conway, have realized the importance of art with fine dining leaving no stone unturned.
Field Restaurant
The then restaurant manager and chef of ‘The Plumed Horse’, a once Michelin starred, are back to give Edinburgh the very best Michelin standard cuisine. Bags Of Love have had the privilege to design the large photo canvas enlightening the restaurant with modern art dining. The canvas reflects the city’s heritage, ‘Cowgate’ street, where cows were herded down the street towards the market in previous centuries.
Rachel Conway review – “I wanted to thank you very much for our big cow canvas! I absolutely love it, it is everything I hoped it would be. It really makes the center-piece for our restaurant which we are re-opening tonight.”
