Much as your actual real-life face is not really dishwasher safe, neither are these face chopping boards. Face cutting boards are more hygienic than traditional wooden style chopping boards. That's due to the non-porous nature of the stonemax material, which prevents bacteria build-up. It's also anti-bacterial, so you just need to wash it with washing up liquid and some warm water.
