Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
Your face on crossbody bag design is printed onto the material of your choice and then beautifully finished with a one-metre long nickel-plated chain. You can choose whether you want that chain to be silver or gold to get the best effect for your design and intended use. The option that you choose will also change the colour of the zip and round puller that features on the black zip tape. Whichever option you go for, however, the Suede Vision lining is always beige.
Well, only faux by name if you pick the faux leather option (which, for the record is actually, genuinely faux leather) rather than the real leather choice. However, everything about your face crossbody bag - and its handmade nature - is as non-faux as it gets. We print your face design onto your chosen material using modern printing techniques. This bonds the eco-friendly inks deep into the fibres of the leather and results in a long-lasting print that will not crack or peel. The material is then hand-cut to size and shape and hand-stitched, before being finished (by hand, of course) with a zip, chain and all the trimmings. Nothing faux about that process, huh?
