Designed for the body conscious, with a choice of three beautiful materials each with a little stretch, this skirt was designed with body sculpting in mind. Customise your women's pencil skirts using our simple online design tool, in just a few simple steps.
Step One: Select your size
The Marilyn skirt comes in a choice of seven different sizes ranging from XXS right up to 2XL, so you can choose the size that suits you best. If like us, you find that lettered sizes aren't always the easiest to navigate, our design tool gives you these in UK sizes as well. So simply find the one that matches your usual dress size, and select that one.
Step Two: Pick your fabric
Your personalised ladies pencil skirts can be created in a choice of three different materials, each with their own properties. Crushed Velour is a knitted poly-fabric, it has a tight construct which means it makes for a superb stretch fabric. It has a soft pile which retains heat well and has a shiny surface which gives it a unique sheen and shimmer. Ponte Jersey has a slightly ribbed appearance to it, and being a jersey fabric also has brilliant stretch qualities to it. Rox Sports Jersey has a very soft face, and again, as a jersey fabric has that body accentuating stretch to it.
Step Three: Decide your detailing
The online design tool will allow you to choose between a black and white thread for the top stitch thread colour, as well as choose whether you want to create custom labels for your ladies pencil skirts. The label is entirely optional and, if selected, will add another panel to your interface where you can customise this completely. Each label is as unique as the garment it is placed in, and so you can customise this with a personal message - great if you're buying the Marilyn Skirt as a gift.
Step Four: Design away!
That's it, now you have chosen all of your custom options, you are ready to personalise your design. Upload your favourite photos, create a graphic design or even add text to your women's pencil skirts, to make them as unique as you are.
As our ladies pencil skirts come in a choice of three fabrics, your choice during the initial design stages will determine what the fabric looks like. The Crushed Velour has a very plush texture with a luxurious sheen to it. It has a soft pile which gives it volume and it reflects light for a stunning shimmer effect. The Ponte Jersey has a very distinct rib knit and interlock, which will give your skirt an almost tight-ribbed look to it. The Rox Sports Jersey is wonderfully smooth to the touch, and also has a natural shine to it, it's a breathable fabric and isn't prone to creasing.

We print your personalised design directly onto the fabric sheeting. From here we cut to shape and size, and then lovingly hand stitch your Marilyn Skirt; this ensures that your personalised design is printed in full stunning colour from edge to edge. As all women's pencil skirts are hand made in this way, you can rest assured that every detail is to your specification. Due to hemming and hand sewing the garment, please be aware that all measurements are approximate.

All three fabrics used for making these women's pencil skirts have been chosen with their great stretch qualities in mind. When paired with the subtle design details that intentionally accentuate your natural curvature, you end up with amazing body sculpting results. High-waisted garments hide a multitude of sins, and are one of our personal favourites; appealing to all ages as well as body shapes, as they sit on your waistline rather than your hips they use your body's natural curves and accentuate them, as well as elongating your legs - ideal for shorter women. The detailing on the seam has been placed down the centre back, with a stylish slit of 18.5cm from the bottom, allowing extra movement.
